1. Specification

2. Record other language to control

If you want to use voice for control, first of all, you need to record your voice（it can be in any language）

that is to say, using voice to control PWM or IO output requires recording voice before use.

The operating steps are as follows:

（1）Power the product with a DC power supply of 3.6-5.0v and connect a microphone.

Connect a button between pin GND and pin P3（As Record Control）;

Single Click: Record command for "ON";

Double click: Record command for "OFF";

Press and hold for 6 seconds to delete the recorded command;

（2）The indicator light can be connected to the P5 pin.

Click Action: The light flashes once;

Double click operation: the light flashes twice;

Recording successful: light flashing 3 times;

Delete operation successful: the light flashes 4 times;

Control output pins: P5;

Connect the LED indicator light at pins P1 or P2 or P5, and the light will indicate when using recording commands.

Attention:  2~4 command words are the best， command word duration less than 3s.

Please keep the environment quiet during operation and read the input voice aloud

3. Use Default Command( in English)

 

Of course, you can also use the operation instructions reserved by the module to control,

The module comes with default instructions for light control when it leaves the factory, using English as the default control language.

Attention:  command words 15-25, needs to be operated within 3minutes after power on;

4. Wiring Instructions

Wiring instructions:

VCC and GND are connected to 3.6-5V power supply,

MIC+and MIC - are connected to the positive and negative electrodes of the microphone, respectively,

Control output using pins P1, P2, or P5;

Pins P1 and P2 output 2-way PWM control dual color light;

Pin P5 outputs a high or low level signal to control one channel of lighting .

Pin P4: Button input pin, Used for switch control (effective at low level).

Pin P3: Button input pin, used for recording training controle （effective at low level).

 

Common problems and solutions for product use:

1. After recording, say what was just recorded, but the product did not respond?

Answer:

When recording, pay attention to maintaining a quiet environment and make the recorded sound louder.

Additionally, please note that the recording content is 2-4 words, and the number of syllables pronounced should not exceed 8 (for example, an English word “hello” is 2 syllables ). The recording content should not be too long (should be controlled within 3 seconds), otherwise it will affect the recognition effect.

2. After recording, it was found that the lights sometimes automatically is on or off?

Answer:

The recorded content may be too short, or there may be loud environmental noise during recording. The content needs to be re recorded again.

3. After recording the command, and then record a new command again. Are both recording commands valid?

Answer:

The product only retains the latest recorded content, and the new recorded content will overwrite the old content.
